What is teddy?
Teddy is a soft fabric with a full, fluffy texture that instantly radiates warmth. You often see it in winter clothing and interior items: cosy, atmospheric, and wonderfully soft — exactly what you want on cold nights.

What is muslin cotton?
Muslin is an airy, double-woven cotton fabric with a recognisable, relaxed crinkled texture. You may know it from muslin baby cloths or airy summer blouses: soft, breathable, and supple — exactly what makes it so comfortable to sleep under.

Washing instructions

To maximize the lifespan of your duvet, wash it at 40 °C and a spin speed of 600 rpm.
Washing regularly helps fight stains, dust mites, mould and bacteria. Air-dry the duvet or tumble dry it briefly, and make sure it is completely dry within 1 to 2 hours.

Check whether your washing machine is large enough for the duvet. Doesn't it fit? Then choose two smaller duvets.

Washing machine + dryer capacity
Teddy Cotton Muslin S (140 x 200 cm): 6 kg capacity
Teddy Cotton Muslin M (160 x 220 cm): 8 kg capacity
Teddy Cotton Muslin L (200 x 200 cm): 9 kg capacity
Teddy Cotton Muslin XL (240 x 200 cm): 11 kg capacity

Drying Instructions
Option 1: Air Drying
Hang the duvet in a well-ventilated spot and let it dry for 1–2 hours. This energy-efficient method helps reduce creases and keeps the filling fresh and airy.

Option 2: Tumble Drying
Use a short program at a low temperature. For the best result, take the duvet out of the dryer immediately after drying and gently fluff it up to restore its loft. Avoid over-drying, as too much heat can shorten the lifespan of the filling.

Warmth class

All Zelesta duvets have temperature-regulating filling, but they usually differ in thickness. We offer duvets for winter, summer, and year-round use, with different fill weights.

Heat classes 1–4 indicate how warm the duvet is: heat class 4 is the lightest and most suitable for summer, while heat class 1 is the warmest and ideal for winter.

Heat class 1
A heat class 1 duvet is the warmest option and is designed for strong winters and very cold nights. It provides maximum insulation and a cozy, enveloping feel, making it ideal for cold bedrooms or for sleepers who easily feel chilly at night. The duvet offers excellent warmth without compromising on comfort, making it a perfect choice for the coldest months of the year.

Great for dust mite allergies

I always used to suffer from sneezing, itching, and a runny nose while sleeping. My old duvet was too big for the washing machine, so the symptoms never let up. With Zelesta it's solved, no more trouble.

The whole family is a fan

I was skeptical about the comfort, so at first I just ordered one for my partner and me. But it's really comfortable and super easy to wash! After a week I immediately ordered 4 more duvets, for the kids too. Really happy with them!

Takes less effort

Because of my rheumatism, changing the bed was always a tricky job. Zelesta's duvets make it so much easier. They're lightweight and have a built-in cover. I really wouldn't want it any other way now.

Never going back

As a single husband, I am never going back to regular duvets. I can't be happier with the quality and easy of making my own and my kids beds.
